I'm going to Seattle for two nights to get all but one of my tests done this week. I'm a country girl to my core and the last time I was in Seattle I was homeless and miserable. I have all these feelings coming up and they're making me feel so anxious about this whole thing. I'm excited, but I'm nervous. Anyway this is the easy part right? Getting poked and prodded. I hope I will find out my surgery date soon though.

I had my consultation at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Federal Way, Washington state on Feb 24 and it was fabulous. The entire staff there is truly wonderful. My consult person was delightful and I even had fun while we were talking. I got a three ring binder with all sorts of information, charts and images that explain every possible aspect of what you have to go through. All the different surgeries there are to choose from, it's a wonderful resource. I highly recommend this facility if

I had my consultation on Tuesday of this week. These people aren't messing around. I'm scheduled for a two night stay in a sleep lab in Seattle and then all the other tests I need while I'm there. Nutrition, Psyche, Sleep in a 2 day extravaganza!! Ok, not that exciting, but exciting! I'm excited because it means I'm on the path to surgery. I still don't know when that will be, but it will be! I'm so thankful for this chance, I'm ready to be able to ride a bike again, to be able to

I have my consult at the end of Feb. Last week I didn't even know all of this was a possibility. Now that seems like forever to wait and who knows when the actual surgery will be.
I've been investigating different liquid nutritional supplements so I'm ready for the post op 10 day liquid diet. I have done cleanses in the past. I attempted a 10 juice fast once and by day four I was a bitch, couldn't wait to bite down on something and my partner at the time was very frightened of me.
