Thanks all! I've been doing my research and can't find anything negative about Jose A Castañeda in Puerto Vallarta. I will seeking out references and continuing my research...probably up until a few days prior! There is a full $ back option in the contract should I change my mind 14 days prior.

I had surgeryin Tijuana Mexico on November 24th 2014 so I'm about to hit month to post opdown 40 pounds and feeling much better than I did. I would definitely do my research though I agree with previous post... I had surgery with A Lighter M with Dr.Ortiz. I had a wonderful experience with their entire staff...I was in the hospital for 3 days post op is this stayed to the Marriott in Tijuana... anyway it was amazing!! Good luck to you! @

I'm glad to have found you Rjc0704 because you fit closest to my own scenario my bmi is 30 and I am scheduled to have my sleeve done in Mexico on 1/27/15. Are you going to get a sleeve too?

My best advise to anyone considering having weight loss surgery in Tijuana is do your research!!!! I had my surgery with Dr. Sergio Quinones on January 12, 2013 and it was the best decision I could have made. When I first started doing my research October 2012 my surgeon was going to be someone else. I like most people think "This surgeon does a lot of surgeries so he must be good". Luckily I continued to do my research until I found Dr. Quinones.

A few of the factors that made me have my surgery with Dr. Quinones were: My surgery was performed in a small private hospital were I had my own private room and bathroom. 2) My post-op (3days) were at the hospital not a hotel. 3) Dr. Quinones only performs 3 surgeries maximum daily. 4) The most important was that Dr. Quinones speaks perfect English!!!
