My instructions said not to eat 30 minutes prior, during, or 45 minutes to 1 hour after I eat. I could not seem to find any information or get any answers on why. I had my surgery in Mexico on Tuesday and all went well with that. I left Mexico yesterday (Friday) to go home to Oklahoma but got stuck at LAX. Flight last night cancelled, then it ended up in the ER for dehydration. I really tried to get liquids in, but felt so bad & every sip made me feel worse so it was an ugly cycle. I am soooo excited! I got my passport today! I don't know why, bit that has been the most exciting thing to me. I have always wanted a passport & I can't wait to use it in a few days. Off to Mexico on Monday. Start liquid diet on Saturday, so this is starting to get real!

Ok, so I just realized that it is only 10 days until surgery. WHAT!?! I am scared, excited worried, confused....and going through about every other emotion you can think of. I am actually finding myself thinking "Am I REALLY sure this is what I want to do?" and all of the "what if" scenarios are playing out in my mind. I hate to fly leads to WHAT IF THE PLAN CRASHES??
