I am 9 days post op and I have no desire to drink any more protein shakes. I've drank so many that the thought of another shake makes my stomach turn. I have tried mixing up my shakes by adding a fruit for different flavor, but I'm just over it. I've been adjusting well to my new stomach, but even on my best day I cannot get enough protein in. The first two times I attempted to have the surgery I went through Boston Medical Center, but the appts were booked really far apart. So, I decided to try some place else the 3rd time around. My first appt at Beth Israel is with the Social Worker on 1/13. I was told at this appt I will receive

I feel like I'm finally in a good place where I am comfortable enough to share my story. To be honest, I've been ashamed for so long.
I'm happily married, and we have a beautiful daughter together. Over the years life just happened, and I found myself taking care of everyone else but me. In this time I gained a lot of weight for many different reasons.
This is my 3rd attempt at bariatric surgery, so I am praying that everything goes well this time. The
