Hi Lisa - so good to hear from you. I have not been on for a while. Doing well - weight loss slow and steady and I feel great. Wish I didn't have so much more to lose. Sorry I checked this site so late-now I am sleepy! Glad to hear you are doing well. God bless you my friend ly

Please keep me posted on you and your liver. I would love to meet you one day. I also have really enjoyed chatting with you. How do you feel now? Praying for your health my friend. Thanks so much for the kind words about my mum. Maybe you are having gallbladder issues and it is messing with your liver???? How are you doing foodwise? I am so thankful to have not had a binge at all. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Are you still busy working or have you had to rest? Do you think you might have picked up hepatitis somewhere in Mexico? I know I am driving you nuts with all these questions! Well Lisa I should get to sleep. God bless you and keep those rock climbing dreams going. One day soon Ly

Oh crape so sorry to hear that. I think of you often. Just found out 2days ago my mum has kidney cancer. She is 86 and is not sure she wants to do anything about it. please keep me posted on you and your liver. You are in my prayers. Weight loss is not as quite as fast as I would like-is it ever? but no binges and that is a total blessing. Must get ready for work tomorrow. Please let me know how u r feeling. Miss u ly
  8. I was to. Now I go a whole week and then I can't eat because I feel so sick. Then I take laxitives aSaturday night and Sunday I have to stay home for fear of not being able to hold it. I got a suggestion to try a tea called smooth move that people are saying work, so I went on Amazon and bought some. I will let you know how it works.
    Take care
    Lisa

So, I too blog on this subject. Miralax was suggested to me by my surgeon if needed. When I needed it, I used it once and I exploded within a couple of hours. Someone blogged back that Miralax takes longer than that. I can only say thats how it was for me. Maybe it could have been something else. I don't know. Before surgery I was very regular. Now about every 3 days.
  10. Ok. I can't believe I'm writing this but I can't take it anymore. If there is anyone who gets sick at the thought of going #2 then don't read this.
So, I have been having an issue that has gone on since my surgery of not being able to go, and when I go its so hard it actually makes me bleed. It gotten to the point that on Friday night before I go to bed I take a regular dose of a Laxitive, then Saturday it happens a little at a time, and is painful. I actually kept notes the last two weeks, and I haven't gone since last Saturday when I took the laxitives. That's six days.
I wrote my Doctor in hopes that she will know what to do, but I'm thinking you guys might have some Incite. I take chewable fibre and eat broccoli and other veggies.
I'm sorry this is so to much information, but I can't take going to the bathroom one a week and only if I take a laxative. Please help me.
    Thanks, Lisa
  11. Wow, I was just updating and I saw that it's only been 41 days since my surgery. It feels like it was longer ago then that. I feel almost normal, and I've lost 29 pounds. I can't believe it. There has only been one time I got sick from eating more then my tiny belly could take. Learning is hard and I am doing great now, but I remember that feeling, and I always shoot to not do it again. Anyway, I'm so happy
  12. Well, it's Sunday evening and I'm holding my breath for tomorrow. I weight myself every Monday. I am one pound away from ONEDERLAND. I have not seen a 1 on the scale for like ten years.
This will be a true goal that I've reached. Still have 50 more to loose but 30 pounds is a great start. God blessed me with this whole opportunity and I'm flying. Just had to share how happy I am...

Did you have to remove any stitches on your own?

I'm so glad you posted your entire experience. This has helped me a lot. My surgery is scheduled for June 1st. I'm so excited and wish it were sooner.

Hello my friend-my first day back to work was awesome. everyone was so welcoming. I had my support group to gonto after work-it was a looong day. I was so tired today! We did some work with resistance bands and today I ache like crazy! I am so not fit. I have been walking at work too after I eat my big lunch ha ha. The only thing that has bothered me so far is peach tea-weird! For a second I thought I was going to throw up at my desk. I have had string cheese but not regular cheese yet and that was ok. I still eat too fast tho. Having a few grain/carb cravings today but other than that things are good. I haven't lost anything all week do I guess this is my stall now-bummer. Take care Lisa and write when u can. Fun sharing withbyou. Good night ly

January 19th. 14 days until Mexico

by Allfire on 01-04-2015 at 09:33 PM
The closer I get the more excited I get. I also notice that the closer I get the more crap I'm hearing about Dr. Almanza. I know he does more surgeries per day then some, but there are some scary stories out there.
The one thing I have done is go on weightlessagents.com who set this all up for me and I ask them questions. I am very up front, and I confront everything I see and I ask about stuff.
They have been helpful, but I also know that there is always bad things if your looking.
