Biography:

Very excited for my procedure! March can't get here fast enough. I have suffered from hypothyroidism since age 15. It was managed well until I suffered some back fractures in 2000 and again in 2006. Thanks to forced inactivity due to severe pain/healing and the hypothyroidism, I gained lots of weight. In the past year I've taken about 20 off, but it isn't enough fast enough. I am stoked about a permanent solution. I want to feel good enough again to be as active as I once was... and to get back in that show ring and compete my horse. My next door neighbor just had this procedure with Dr. Almanza just a few weeks ago and spoke wonderfully about the whole experience. I cannot wait to meet others and hear their stories!
