I go back to work tomorrow and I am a bit worried. I am so tired! I want a nap but my naps have been messing with my sleep. I am scared to nap then not sleep with work tomorrow.
I am also way hungry. I just ate a protein shake and I am no longer paicky hungry like i was when i got home from church. I think my low energy is from low calories. Low energy makes me feel depressed. If i leak a few tears i feel better , then i am ok again.
I am hoping for more energy

HELP! I am so confused!
I had my surgery on Dec 15th. I have done really well with getting in my fluids and protein each day since I came home in the range of 52-70 ounces of water and 60-80 grams of protein. My surgery was Monday. I think my swelling has gone down as I can eat almost 3 ounces! Dinner was like a gourmet meal with my ground turkey - still hungry as there was only an ounce left, so I added cottage cheese and avocado. IT WAS DELICIOUS! Still working at getting my water up to 68 ounces but I am learning by cause and negative effect how much to drink at a time!
I also figured out my pill resentment issue. I put ALL the chew-able vitamins in a pretty little dish and pretend

I am so glad to be home! The nap I took today on my OWN bed in my own sheets and with my own pillow was AWESOME!
Hospitals are noisy - the IV machine I had to name and pretend it was my own personal frogs peeping. The bed can get ready for lift off to Mars at any time and does prepare for take off, and the compression boots - well if you make them loose you can pretend it is your dog cuddling up to your feet.
I did it! All is well and I feel pretty good. The transition

Tomorrow is the day. We leave at 730 am.
I have felt so ready and so peaceful and good about the whole thing. I have imagined myself at the hospital, walking, resting, and doing better then expected. I also have imagined me having a great Christmas holiday with the energy needed and joy in family. I Imagine recovering well, being able to laugh at my less than graceful moments, and learn about how to take care of me.
I have also imagined struggling and overcoming.
