Sooooo, I'm not frustrated anymore. I hit that 3 1/2 week stall that a lot of people talked about and it lasted 3 1/2 - 4 weeks. I believe I was not eating enough and my body went into starvation mode. I have increased my eating and that seems to have kickstarted my losing again. I guess what I want to say is don't give up, keep plugging along and eventually it will payoff.

Not regretting the choice I made!

All is great... No complaints. Everybody has been wonderful. I am experiencing no heartburn ( touch wood) yet...no pain..turned down the pain meds today. We all went for our last leak test and X-ray ..no leaks...ready for home tomorrow. My advice....walk and walk some more and let freezies become your new best friend.

To all those that commented to my last blog..thank you. So here I am several hours after surgery. I handled the anesthetic really well..no nausea. I have been up and walking now several times........walk walk walk. I also found while lying in bed put your hands above your head.....it truly helps with gas pain. Try it..you will like it. Thus far a good experience. Good luck to you all.

Well today has finally come...January 20th. I flew into San Diego yesterday and despite a little mix up with pickup all went smoothly. Off to the hospital for bloodwork and then to the hotel...very nice hotel. First order of business...broth and a water. I got myself settled...showered and off to bed. It was a long day. Up early as I am three hrs ahead and have said goodbye to the old fat me and am ready for the new slimmer me.....bring it on!

So...January 20th is getting closer and closer. Everyday I look at the calendar at least once but the time does not pass any quicker. I am so ready for this. It is a brand new beginning. If I can be excited and nervous at the same time then that is what I am. I am excited that I am taking this step to finally be healthier and nervous that I am going on my own.
