My daughter wants yo know if any of you had a short recovery time . She can't take off too long for the surgery. Can anyone give her your experiences.
Well, I am making progress, but it is very slow!!! I haven't lost that much weight, but I have lost inches. The inches have been mostly in my chest and my waist. I started at 188, and at his time I am only at 170. It has been a bit discouraging. I started walking last week when my pains at my incisions stopped. I went to the doctor for the nurse to tell me that I needed to be getting 80 to 90 grams of protein with most of that coming from solid protein...which is very hard to do.
it finally happened!!! The scale moved down! I blogged recently that I was experiencing a stall and many of you have assured me that this was normal. Well the scale finally moved down three pounds! I am smiling!!
The pain in my left side is SLOWLY getting better. I have not started exercising because of the acute pain on my lower left side. Sudden moves, getting in and out of my car, laying down and raising up, or anything that remotely uses my left obliques really hurts, however,
I am five weeks out and for the last three weeks I have been at the same weight. However, yesterday I measured my waist and I have list 2 inches off of my waist.
I am still experiencing pain on my left lower side. I have been putting a heating pad on it daily and throughout the night. I feel that it is getting better very slowly.
My water and protein intake continues to be a struggle, however, I am still trying to get it in. I have attached a new picture with
