  1. So I have reached 154 and my family keeps telling me not to lose any more..... My head says I can go another 15 lbs. Looking in the mirror is fun and clothes shopping in a regular store without having to try on everything before I buy is wonderful. I find myself drawn to dresses that are on sale...makes me feel good. Keep up the good work. Have finally found a bra that works LOL after a really bad day at work when both slipped down, really uncomfortable 2 hours as at work I can not adjust!!
  2. Hello...it's been 1 year and 21 days since my surgery! I have lost 75lbs, 5 clothing sizes, and appx. 30 inches of skin all around! I feel great and I don't get out of breath just walking up 1/2 flight of stairs. I don't exercise as much as I should, but I do eat healthy foods, and always just the right amount. That is the most amazing thing to me. I never, ever, in a million years, thought I would eat a balanced amount of food, and not overeat, or eat all of everything on my plate, and whatever was left on everybody else's! I love the changes in my life. I am so so so so so happy I had the gastric sleeve procedure. I would recommend it to anyone who struggles with weight. Happy!

    ONEderland, fantastic!!! You're looking great!
  5. Woohoo for you! I have been off here for such a long time...my daughter got engaged in May and married in June...I went to San Diego and New England in June and July. I lost nothing during that time. Better not to gain! I came home, and started working, but today was my last day...it was too far a drive for me...92 miles RT, all highway and traffic. I will get back on track, walk the dogs, (and me!), and get back on all protein, all the time...hahaha. I do know sugar is the enemy, and it is still hard to stay away from it. I stay away from soda, but have had a drink or two this summer. I love wearing smaller clothes, Kohls and Macy's, and I like how I look right now! It is not enough, though, and I must keep my eye on the prize! HAHAHA re: your 'puppies' and new bras! Have a wonderful autumn. Glad to get back on here...hope you didn't think you lost me...I just didn't want to post, but I did update my signature, which shows my minimal weight loss during the summer...I am just so happy to be in "ONE"derland! More later, thanks again for writing...keeps me on my toes!!!
  6. Well it has been all most 8 months. I am down 82 lbs. It is still hard everyday. I want to eat but know I have worked to hard to get this far and not reach my goal!! Still have chocolate of course and cake on occasion. Still avoiding soda. Should be avoiding Kohls I have bought 3 new dresses!!! But already one is to big, so will have it tailored down later. Hope all is going great for you. let me know
  7. How are you doing??? I am down to 200 and hope that this next week goes to wonderland!!! I have gone down 2 full sizes and have no boobs just sacks where boobs had been Had to buy a couple new bras just to keep the flattened puppies from sliding the bottom!! Keep working and let me know how you are doing.

WOW, I def see a difference!!!! you look great. keep up the good work.
  11. I have not been on in a long time either. I too am experiencing what you are. I have been stagnant for a week at 222 and have my appt on Friday where I had hoped to be at 220 also.
I was told absolutely no gummi vitamins. all had to be chewable but not gummi. I am taking vit d daily calcium daily iron(which I hate as a chewable) b12 three times a week and biotin to keep hair and nails good. It cost me about 85.00 for 3 months worth most from gnc. Getting so tired for water as drink of choice. Really would like to try a soda but I will not ...just need to find something with more flavor. I think we are right on at trying to keep weight loss at 8=10 lbs a month. Keep up the good work.
by the way I too have started feeling hungry again so I think this is normal
  12. Hello...I have not been on this site at all since getting to Hilton Head. Walking every morning, riding 5 to 10 miles 2 or 3 times a week on my rented bike. It is much colder here this year, than last. I wear a scarf and gloves on the beach in the mornings! I am not losing so much as I had wanted to here. Lots of temptations...so many visitors, so many plates of food to 'try a bite' of. I am at 229...228 for the past 2 weeks. Not happy with that. Plan was to be at 220 by end of Feb. 10lbs per month. It is not too late...so, I will get with it! They told me gummy vits were ok...but, I have learned that SUGAR IS THE ENEMY! So, I am not taking any more...they just get the thoughts of sugar flowing...one thing leads to another...haha...sort of. I feel good about the fact that I can stop eating when I am 'full'...I now understand what that is. But, I do get hungry, now as I did before surgery...in Dec and Jan, I could go days without feeling hungry...sort of. Now, it feels a little more like the past...this worries me a bit, but I am ok and have a good support system. I know I am doing most of the right things! Anyway...hope all is well with you! Take care!
  13. I haven't been on lately. Hope you are doing well. Had my 4 week po appt last week have lost 31 lbs. I guess I was hoping for more as I have stuck to the plan..... Vitamin regime has started. yeck I really hate that the vitamins can't be gummy! I love gummy vits. Hope you are well.

Someone let some air out of the tires!

by GoAllTheWeigh on 03-14-2015 at 03:26 PM
I just posted my latest picture...46 lbs gone since highest weight. I don't "see" all that much difference in the pics, although there is a little more wall space. We remeasured all circumference places, and all told, each measurement is down anywhere from 1" to 3.5"! I don't have the original shirt, but a similar one on. I can now wear 1 to 2 size smaller pants...which, fortunately, I have a supply of since the last time I lost weight, but I plan on going 'down under' (under

Home Again, Jiggety Jig! Or, not so jiggety anymore!

by GoAllTheWeigh on 03-14-2015 at 01:20 PM
Lots of exercise, walking and biking in Hilton Head during January and February. Lots of housework at my daughter's house in San Antonio. Did not meet weight loss goal for Feb 28th, but have now reached it! Threw lots of pants away, found 'new' ones in the closet from the last time I got to my lowest weight...ready to go down down down from here! NSV ALERT: Bought a jacket on a cruise last fall, 2 sizes below what actually fit at the time. It was a size L, and the zipper would not reach together,

Got the Go Ahead! Hilton Head here I come!

by GoAllTheWeigh on 01-10-2015 at 12:17 AM
Went to my post op visit with doctor...all healed, and she was impressed with my food log! She didn't give me any grief about my first few mistakes, although she did look at me when I walked in and just said "Pizza???" We both laughed. I am losing weight and I feel so good! It is amazing that I don't feel hungry anymore. Perhaps that first week my brain not realize I had the surgery, and was just acting as normal...feed me...I was so used to eating all the time, I was on autopilot,

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas!

by GoAllTheWeigh on 12-24-2014 at 10:26 AM
Hello all...a beautiful new day, after 24 hours of staying within my guidelines! HALLELUJAH! Hoping everyone has a nice day tomorrow, whether celebrating the holiday, or working, or just staying home and being cozy. I am so grateful for my sleeve, the only thing I wanted for Christmas. I did not treat it correctly for a few days there, but all is well and my sleeve forgiven me! Can't wait for the weeks ahead. HAPPY DAY!

Called the Doctor and the doctor said...

by GoAllTheWeigh on 12-23-2014 at 04:58 PM
Hey all...spoke w/my doctor today...told her all the ugly truth...she didn't slap me, but she did say as long as nothing hurts, it is not broken. I WILL, however, drink only full liquids until Jan 7, and no more experimentation! I will visit her then. Just sayin' ... thanks for all concern... smiles!
