Its been a little over 2 weeks since surgery. Everything is going fine, but I'm soooo tired. Work wears me out (and I have a desk job). I'm going to bed hours earlier than I used to and still having trouble waking up in the morning. I'm getting at least 90gms of protein a day, so I know thats not the cause. I hope this gets better soon because I feel absolutely useless.

Its been 10 days now since my sleeve, and physically I am doing pretty well, still worn out at the end of the day but I know my body is still recovering from major surgery. I swear I had hunger pains the other night, but I'm just going to chalk it up to not getting enough fluids in. Over the past two days I've been able to fit in water besides all these shakes, soups and protein supplements. It' s a nice change and I think my body really needs it to flush out the toxins and fat that I'm burning

I had my 1 week follow up today and have returned to work. I've been driving for the past couple of days without any problems. I'm feeling pretty good over all, mostly just tired. I am managing to get my 90gm of protein in every day, but I am getting sick of liquids. I hope I will be able to start adding in more texture to my diet soon. I have lost 15lbs since the surgery! It's hard to not get on the scale multiple times during the day (which I know is stupid). I really should only weigh myself

Well its still been a struggle to drink anything without experiencing spasms. Helps a little bit if I stand up, and go really, really slow. I drove my car about a block last night (we had to drop off one of our cars to the shop) which didn't bother me at all. We actually had sex this morning (side-ways spoons), I felt good after, and I know he felt a lot better since its been 4 days, LOL. I've been cutting back on the liquid lortab, I don't like codeine, and it only makes constipation 100x's

I had my sleeve yesterday morning. I hardly remember going into the operating room because they gave me Versed because I was getting so anxious. That pretty much knocked me out. I vaguely remember being brought back to my room, and oh the gas pain in the shoulders and back, that was horrible. I had no idea to expect that. The abdominal pain wasn't too bad, not compared to that shoulder pain. I was also told they repaired a hiatal hernia at the same time, so that should resolve my reflux problems.
