I have had many people ask me about how having gastric sleeve surgery has changed my life. I give them pieces but never the whole story because who has time to tell people every aspect and every detail of what happened from start to finish. I decided a blog post would be the best way to give people much of the information that would answer many of the questions they were asking. Here is my story.
On December 3rd, 2014 I made a decision that would

I have lost a total of 57 lbs on my journey. 30 of that has been in the last month since surgery. I would never want to go back. I am already more confident and I can walk much longer before getting out of breath. I still have a long way to go until I reach goal but I am taking it one day at a time.
The weight loss has slowed down a little as expected so I don't worry when I
Starting weight was 333. Day of surgery I weighed 306 lbs. Yesterday I weighed 282. I have lost 24 lbs since surgery for a total of 51 lbs since December 4th.
I feel great. Finally getting more protein and water in so I think I will start exercising slowly next week. I tried a week after surgery and realized it was a bit too soon. Stepped on the scale and only down .2 lbs since yesterday. I am not disappointed. I know this is nothing but the dreaded three week stall.
