  1. Thanks! We thought it fit us perfectly. Although, it hasn't been all that pleasant lately. haha

We are doing well, I believe we are over the hump. Hubby had a slow time healing one of his inscisions, so we've been watching that. He's also been extremely tired and we've decided that 60 mg of protien is not enough for him. Hoping that as he increases the protein he'll be feeling a bit better.

Thanks for following us, and we will be updating about once a week as time permits. We are getting ready to move, so can't promise to be on time. But PLEASE, if you ever have any questions, feel free to contact us anytime.

    Thank you and Welcome!

Love your name "pleasantly unplumping"! How are you doing? How is your husband? I am thinking you may have other things going on as you heal. I am new and so interested in how recently sleeved folks are healing. I will watch for further comments on your page. Take care, be well!

About Pleasantly-Unplumping
Sleeved or not sleeved:
I have had a gastric sleeve.
Biography:
My husband and I are doing this together. After years of dieting, we were able to lose much of our weight, however, we are still on blood pressure meds and hope this will get us over the edge. I also have severe neck and back pain due to a car accident years ago and joint pain. Doctor has told me that losing weight will assist with alleviating the pain so that I can stop with the injections and avoid pain meds.

Two Weeks Post-Op!

by Pleasantly-Unplumping on 11-12-2014 at 01:26 PM
Sorry I'm a bit late on the update.

I'm doing fine. Our stitches were taken out on day 11, last Saturday. Whew! Finished our antibiotics. I've had a couple of the incisions open so the scars will be worse for me. Oh well, right? I almost forgot, make sure you buy the paper tape, or tape for frequent bandage changes ! We didn't and I have sores all around my incisions as a result. They are more painful than the incision sites as well. Wish I'd known when I sent my daughter

One Week Post-Op!

by Pleasantly-Unplumping on 11-04-2014 at 02:18 PM
Thought I'd post an update on my husband and my surgeries. We are one week post op and doing ok. I hear so many saying that they don't have any pain and don't take pain meds. I don't get it.

We both have incision pain. Especially on the one used to remove the discarded portion of the stomach. It isn't excruciating, but i is very uncomfortable. My husband is having a bit of drainage still through the one he had the drain and it is unusually red. We will keep an extra eye on
