Congrats on your progress. How are you coming along. At 2.5 years out, I'm finding the hardest part is maintaining but I continue to work hard. I can now eat more at least a small saucer of food. I have to strive to make good choices. I've worked too hard to get to this point. Just sending you words of encouragement. I tell myself that eating the junk food does not make me nearly as happy as being healthy feels.

Good luck on your journey im sure you have worked real hard too. Best of luck on your success

Thank you for the compliment. How are you coming along. The surgery was the best decision I ever made. I wish the best for you. Take care.
  4. I am 14 days out and I must say I have gained weight. When I got home I was at 283 and was ecstatic. I'm now at 287, I'm doing the jello and popsicle thing and I have had a few shakes. And I am still gaining weight. WTH... To be honest I have not done any major exercising. But I have been out walking some. (Shopping with the hubby.) Did anyone else have a slow start? I'm questioning my decision.... My seasoned sleevers please give me your insight, it will be greatly appreciated.

No I did not travel far my hospital was actually around 10 miles away. Asfar as sipping broth I have no problem with broth after the surgery it was just the hospital stay I stayed one night and the bed, it was the most uncomfortable thing ever!!
