    Well my sleeve surgery is in 5 days!!! I will admit I am getting nervous now. Can't wait to just get it over with. I am just ready for the next step in this journey.

    Thank You for the message. It looks like a lot of people use this support group, that is always nice to see. It can be kind of scary at first, when you decide to have the surgery. I am definitly ready to get the surgery over with in December lol. I will be glad to start 2015 on a healthier note.

    Welcome Max. You are going to love the support, I was so thankful when I found it. As far as the timing of your surgery,its a bummer but think as a new birth into the new year. I had to cancel a cruise to Hawaii, but my health was so much more important, so theres always next year, and i'll be much happier and healthy by then, so things just work out for a reason....

Just Joined Gastric Sleeve today, and excited and nervous about my surgery with Dr. Almanza on December 15, 2014. I am traveling alone, but hope to meet other surgery patients while in Mexico. I was kind of hesatant about having surgery right before Christmas, but decided to go ahead and do it before the New Year. I will have to have to eat a good Thanksgiving Dinner. Christmas I will only be drinking liquids. :-)
