I'm currently considering Dr. Pompa as my surgeon. Is there anything at all about your experience with her, the staff, the location that you wish you'd know; that wasn't good....anything? I have a good vibe as of now, but my family needs some convincing. I promised to hunt for the negative and get past the marketing that sounds so good, just in case there is something negative to be found. Help?

at Hottytaudi, she is fine now. she had troubles the first month, but she met goal and looks AMAZING!!! and she has no regrets..

Hi. I read one of your posts that mentioned your friend got extream nausea. I have read this about several people. How Is she doing now ?

Lord was I happy on Sunday. It's a total NSV, but a victory none the less. I own quite a bit of Tiffany jewerly that i have not been able to wear in about 8 years because of well, you know the weight!! Well on Sunday I tried on my rings and ooolala, they fit!! They are a little snug, but I wore pants snug for a long time hahaha..Anyways everyone have a wonderful day..I'm smiling, that's for sure. Oh and my friend included me on a fitbit work week challange, which UGH, may be the death of me, my I'm going to WIN!! hahaha..yep I'm a little competitive.

I don't do the artificial sweetners any more, stopped using them after surgery. I have no problem with chocolate or the typical candy but cant handle sweet drinks, peach tea that I loved tastes NASTY..tooo sweet and that's with real sugar or should I say corn syrup. haha..Congrats on onederland!!it's an awesome feeling. keep up the good work! Have a blast at the party!!

Sounds like your doing great! I don't like sweeteners. the taste makes me gag. I have had a piece of candy here and there but last night I tried ice cream, never again. I felt so sick...but I think that I needed a little sugar because I'm now in onederland! Yesterday I was 201 today I'm 199. Maybe a coincidence but whatever it was, I'm happy. no more ice cream for me tho. I didn't vomit or anything but felt like I needed to.

Hey! Had surgery 12/30 I'm so close to onederland I can taste it lol. I also Have no problems with any foods, in a way I wish I did. Glad to see you are doing so well! Question- my incision area- where the tummy was taken out of- still hurts a little....almost like a bruise. Incision looks fine. you have any pain? I'll ask the doc when I see him keep up the great work!!

So I'm 11 weeks post op and hit Onderland!! I was so damn excited, like a kid on Christmas. 31 lbs since surgery and 41 pounds since liquid diet!! I am so excited. I've already had a few stalls, but the way I look at it, when else would I have lost 41 pounds in 13 weeks!! Clothes are actually too big now, time to start digging in the BACK of the closet!! Wooohooo. Taking my vitamins and focusing on protein. For about a week I was eating sweets and chips, I've stopped the madness! Sadly not much bothers me, except tortilla and hard boiled eggs!! I will keep focusing on my food choices and I've kept my activity up!! Anyways off to sleep I hope everyone is doing well!

Today I am 5 days post op and feeling great. I have had a great experience thus far. The only Nausea I had was right when I came out of surgery. My doctor and the staff were amazing. I'm getting all my liquids in, but it's an all day process. Proud to say down 7 lbs since surgery and 17 lbs since pre op diet(that's two weeks ago) wooohooo.

Hello All, this is my first post. I am on day two of liquid diet and I am soooooo hungry. But I think alot of my hunger is in my mind. I know I have to gain strength over my mind because after surgery, I will really need strength. I have told my family and only a hand full of friends about my upcoming WLS.. I am a strong woman but I really don't want to hear negative comments "just go to the gym, just diet" if that worked for me I would not be in this position. The activity for me is easy, the food choices, not so much..Anyways I must say, I love all the support that I see on this page and look forward to updating everyone. My surgery is 9 days away with Dr. Liza Pompa Gonzalez in Tijuana!!
