I went to my doctor yesterday for my follow up appointment. All my lab work came back good, blood pressure was still high as normal 150/90. My doctor completed my medical clearance letter, she has cleared me for gastric sleeve surgery. I am kind of concern about whether my insurance BCBS PPO is going to approve me being that my BMI is 38.6 and I only have one co-mobility (hypertension). Have anyone else been approved by their insurance company with a BMI less than 40 and having only one co-mobility?

Hello all, I am so depressed right now. The one person I thought had my back through out this process showed their true colors last night. It really hurt but I know I am doing this for me and my health. The person came back today and said they was just playing but they wasn't. I am so emotional drained right now, but I know I have come too far to give up now. I just know I have to stay focus right now. But it still hurts....you live and you learn.

I went to my 4th weigh in yesterday....I went to my primary physician today....I been thinking all this time that I am 5'4 and my physician corrected me by letting me know I am 5'3....I am so excited because with me being 5'3 my BMI is 39.9....now I really need to maintain my weight where it's at....2 more weigh ins to go and I pray I will be joining all of you on the loser bench.....

My 3rd weigh in is next Tuesday, October 21st. I don't know how to feel about this. I was told not to lose anymore weight to maintain my weight where is now. Easier said than done, so I am kind of nervous that I may have a gained instead of maintaining. If that is the case I will have to go back to getting more exciting in...
