Hi guys,

So I'm 30 days post op today and I feel amazing. I'm down a total of 28 pounds and I sure can tell. It's fun watching the weight fall off. I stalled there for a bit about the second week or so but now the scale is moving again. YAY.

I'm still in the soft food stage but getting ready to add "normal" healthy food here next week. So far there hasn't been any foods that don't agree with me.

So i had surgery on Wednesday feb 4th. The surgery went very well with no complications. The pain was very minimal as i didn't even use my pain pump, i was also good with my stomach i haven't been sick once thank god. All in all everything went very well considering. I have had a few moments of wtf did i do...and I'm hoping that passes. It feels weird not to be able to eat. I do have the hunger pains but id rather have that then be sick or nauseous.

So I just got my approval from my insurance company this morning. After doing the six month supervised diet, meeting with a psy doctor, my insurance came back and gave me the approval. I'm a little in disbelief to be honest. I thought for sure they were going to come back with some type of stipulations but nope....I'm good to go....wahhooooo

So I meet with my surgeon on 1/8/15 for the consultation and to hopefully schedule my surgery for February. I'm just so happy, I can't believe
