    It's honestly been all over the place lol. I'll do really well for a month or two, eating really well and healthy and hitting the gym 3-5 times a week doing the elliptical and weights to eating junk and sitting on my butt. I've lost consistently every week so I guess it's worked for me so far!

    I'll be honest with you and tell you I didn't exercise at all the first 6 months, besides walking a few times a week for 15 minutss...im just starting to do pilates and some other things because once I hit 100lbs weight loss it dramatically slowed down..

    also, I didn't even follow the strict diet well. The first 3 months i had no carbs at all, but I tried a piece of toast and slowly introduced my body back into breads. Pasta is a no no for me, you'll learn what does and doesn't agree with your sleeve. I only ate three meals a day and when I would stall I would add in a snack or try to eat a little more than usual cause my body needed more to burn so I could lose. There's no possible way you an over eat without feeling like dying. Even one bite too much is enough for me sometimes.

    Now I eat whatever I want. Just not a lot obviously. I had a slice of pizza on Saturday (actually it was half a slice)
    I ate a cookie last night no problem

  5. Thank laura!! Your responses are positive and motivating!!! I have my 1 week post op check up tomorrow so i will inform you of any loss. I just need to get over this fatigue!!! I am also looking forward to getting to the regular food stage...i just feel that will help to boost my energy level. I did start drinking protein shakes yesterday but, so far this morning it has taken me 4 hrs to get just 1 in. Much luck to you on continued success and i look forward to chatting with you again!!!

    Thank you for the compliments on my pics. It has been a struggle but once I hit week 5 or 6 post op it became much easier to eat anything I wanted just in small amounts. I like being able to drink more than a sip of liquids. I found a couple of protein shakes I like....one is BoltHouse and the other is Rockin Refuel. I started walking at week one and try to make this a habit at least three to four times a week when I am not working. I will admit when I first had the surgery I did not see any change in weight loss but noticed my clothes fit a little bit looser.

    I feel like all of a sudden I started losing and it just came off. I am sure that will happen for you too. It is fun to shop for new clothes. Please don't hesitate to ask me anything. I am new at this too and it is a learning process.

Able to eat too much!!!!

hi fellow sleevers!! So, I am almost 3 wks post op and am on the pureed/soft foods. However, I feel like I am able to eat too much!!! I have not lost any weight this past week but i am also horrible at getting my fluids and necessary protein in. EX: today: breakfast 1 cup coffee, 1/2 cup of oatmeal (took me 1 1/2 hrs to eat), lunch: 3/4 cup of chili, dinner: mashed potatoes w/ gravy and a little piece of very tender roast beef probably the equivalent of 1 oz. Sick of liquids!!!!!!!!!

SO, I AM ONLY 1WK POST OP AND I HAVE 2 MORE WEEKS OF LIQUID DIET TO GO THROUGH PER MY DR. I AM DONE....I AM SOO TIRED OF LIQUIDS. I AM DOING SUGAR FREE JELLO, BROTH, SUGAR FREE FUDGE POPS, WATER, PROTEIN SHAKES, CRYSTAL LIGHT.....DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS OR FLAVORFUL RECIPES FOR THIS STAGE!!! I MIGHT JUST DIE!! LOL

1 week post op!!!!

So, I had my 1 wk post op visit today and I am 12 lbs down!!! So, excited!! Just not excited about having to stay on the liquid portion of the diet for another 2 WEEKS!!!!! Ugh....I am sooo over it!!! But if this is what I must do then so be it!!! I hope everyone is having a great week!!!!
