Hi there - how are you doing? My day 1 wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but this morning I have more discomfort.

Hi there, saw your surgery is on the 15th - so is mine. Just got a call to be at the Surgical center at 7:30am. Have all my instructions and which meds to take on Sunday night. Ready to go......(nerves ramping up)

Just read your post about ONLY losing 10lbs in 2 weeks on your preop diet. Just wondering what your expectations are. Do you normally lose 5lbs a week? My guess is that you are like the rest of us and just keep gaining.
I think you better lower your expectations or it will be a long and depressing road for you.
I am pretty sure that NOBODY consistently loses at that FAST of a rate for a long period of time.
If you get bummed that easily what will your mood be like when you only lose 2lbs a week or stall?
Perhaps you can look at the long haul instead of a super fast weight loss.
