Next week will be 1 year for my sleeve but I haven't had the success that I thought I would have had by now... In January I fell and broke my shoulder and had a concussion. I was bed ridden for about 2 months and my Dr. released me in late March to start walking again. my weight before my surgery was 229 and now I weigh 191.... I have lost 38 pounds. While I was sick, I found myself grazing throughout the day because I was bored... Now I need to get back to the dieting... I am hoping I didn't stretch my stomach. I can eat more than before I fell but I dont eat that much.... I feel hopeless.

I was on clear liquids for a week, full liquids for another week, puree'd foods for a week, soft foods for a week and then slowly moved on to regular foods while still including the previous foods into my daily food intake. Just don't get ahead of yourself. Take small sips and then small bites. Don't be in a big hurry to eat whatever you want.

Keep a positive attitude and you will do great!

I've not been sleeved yet. I'm 42 days away and counting down every one of them! lol I have 3 friends who have been sleeved, and I have learned a lot from them. This website has been extremely helpful as well! Good luck to you!!
