Update on Gallbladder Decision: Also...quick update. I've decided against the gallbladder removal. I spoke to a couple of folks with removed gallbladders and also my general doctor and another one in his office and the overall census is that no need to remove it if I haven't had prior problems with it. Moreover, I have been advised to stick to a healthy a diet as possible after surgery (avoid fatty foods and sugars) and that should reduce the chances of forming Gallbladder stones post surgery. So I hope this helps anyone with a similar decision at hand

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers...i actually had to push back my surgery date for the 24th of this month. You see...I'm a total workaholic so I just know this surgery is going to be a test on my strength of will both for discomfort, discipline, and taking it a bit easy from work. And believe it or not....the taking it easy from work is what has me most nervous.

But I know my work hours and dedication is what has pushed me to the weight I am now...so I know this is probably what I need both to learn to take a step back and to start taking care of myself for a a change...
