Be careful how you pay for surgery.

by katlike on 05-02-2015 at 09:21 AM
I have had a couple of tax clients take money out their 401Ks to pay for their gastric sleeve surgery. As happy as they are with the results, neither were aware of the tax consequence. Be careful with soy

by katlike on 09-18-2014 at 10:45 AM
Soy can disturb thyroid function so be careful with the amounts you use. I was told about that by a nutritionist a long time ago and didn't really think much of it. I recently asked my endocrinologist and I thought for sure he would wave it off as nothing. He didn't. He said yes, and that he would avoid it. Besides, most are genetically engineered as well.

Hunger or gas post op?

by katlike on 09-13-2014 at 04:16 PM
I was sleeved on Sept 9 and feel fine. However, I don't know if these feeling that resemble hunger are real. Could it be gas gurgling? Still on clear liquids until post op on Monday.
