The long road to health.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to update my journey so far.
After having my surgery on the 5th of January I had no gas pain but I did eventually pay for that. I returned to San Diego on the 9th and prepared to stay overnight and fly home to Saskatchewan the next morning. I did not expect what happened when i hit the hotel. I was up all night with the runs. I was running a slight fever and was having issues getting my fluids in. I was so weak the next morning but wanted to get home so bad that

I am so super excited to get on the plane to Mexico on Sunday morning and to have my surgery on Monday. I am coming over to the losers bench.
I am giving myself a huge pat on the back because I am on my liquid preop diet and I attended the big New Years bash that my husbands family had this year with over 90 members of the family getting together. I won't go in to details about the food but I do have to say there was everything that I love to eat. I stayed busy in the kitchen and

I cannot believe that I start my preop diet soon. It seems like it has been years since I started this process but it has only been months. I have researched both the good and the bad and feel confident in my decision to go ahead with this surgery. I know that it is not going to be an easy road ahead but this road I have been travelling on right now has had many more bumps in it than anyone person should ever have to encounter.
