So, I'm still currently on liquids.
Which is actually fine with me, as I'm the kinda person that likes to know what I'm having day to day. So I'm practically living on chocolate shakes at the moment.
The UK diet guidelines seem slightly/quite different from those of you across the pond.
10 days out and I'm currently having 1000ml of protein shakes - I can only stomach the shakes, the soups aren't that good. I changed on Sunday from having only 700mls a day since surgery.

Well the surgery part is over - time to start my new life! (Well thats how I'm feeling).
Surgery seemed to be the fairly painless and straight forward. Nurses were great and the care I received has been amazing!
My only issue at the moment is dizziness, I'm not sure why really? I'm getting in all the fluids I should at this point. It does seem to be more in the morning, so I guess it could just be having not had any fluids over night? I'm going to ring the hospital this afternoon

Ok, so its getting ever closer - as I knew it would.
Im at the stage where Im thinking, can I really do this. I've never had an operation before, never stayed overnight in hospital. I know this is the right thing to do, Im just getting nervous.
I know I will be looked after and I know this is the right thing for me (I'm miserable the way/weight I am currently).
I'm really trying to cut down on my calories to try and just give myself a head start prior to starting my two weeks

So, Ive got my date and just playing the waiting game.
It doesn't feel likes it actually gonna happen as yet. I've not been to the hospital again since my original meeting with the surgeon. So just wondering when or if I'll get called in again? Do they takes bloods etc before hand? Feel like I've done so much reading and research and still I know nothing!
I can't get my head round the amounts of things after the operation. Im hoping it all will just fall into place as I know everyone
