It was hard at first I'm not going to lie, learning to eat and drink all over again was hard and I was scared to put anything in my new tummy. I did lose a lot almost 100 pounds (96) I just passed my one year 8/19/13 was my surgery date. My weight loss has slowed down a lot and I can gain weight if I eat nothing but bad stuff. ( I mean candy, Candy, Donuts did I mention candy) LOL I did have a great surgery with no problems. I can eat what ever I want but spicy foods tend to hurt so I stay away from them now. I still can't eat a lot. maybe half a sandwich. The Surgery was the best thing I have every did. I love it so much that my Daughter is in the classes because she what's it. I have Kaiser so they fully paid for it and they have a great group of doctors and NUT's. I can't say it for everyone because everyone is different but I love the sleeve, It was rocky in the beginning but man it has changed my life for the good.

So i have my first Appointment to start this process set up for the 12th of August... which is sorta neat in a way because that is the anniversary of my baby son's death, who died two years ago. I feel like its God's way of saying that this symbolizes a new start and a fresh season in my life!!!

Does anybody know about Gallbladder issues and getting Gastric sleeve? My gallbladder acts up at times... has anyone had their gallbladder removed either before or at time of surgery and if so, how was that for U?

No op yet - appendicitis has postponed my operation to September 10. Fingers crossed it's smooth sailing this time
