    I had my incisions looked at. No signs of infection. I'm a nurse at a home
    Health agency and 3 other nurses there have had the sleeve done so they monitor me too. I've been packing with silvasorb and it's has done amazing for me. My sleeve is good. The scale finally moved this morning. I hope this means my stall is over. Just trying to increase protein for weightloss and overall healing. So what is a sleeve revision? Like being re-sleeved?

    Ya I feel like the care was a bit "generic". 2 of my incisions opened back up after taking stitches out 12 days post op. I've been packing them every day. Looks like a few more weeks they might actually be closed. Hopefully! I lost 21 lbs and then hit the 3 week stall and have been hanging at 21 lbs for the last 2 weeks :-( I hope the scale starts moving again soon. Can't wait for week 6! I need alcohol!

Staph Infections after sleeve surgery with Dr. Almanza in Mexico

Hello!
I am wondering if anyone else out there has developed staph infections at their incision sites after having a gastric surgery with Dr. Almanza? I had my surgery (a sleeve revision) on July 8, 2014 and as of today, I still have two open incision sites that are infected with staph. I have gone through three rounds of antibiotics and still have not healed. It is very frustrating and a bit scary.
My experience with Dr. Almanza's facility was that it was a glorified clinic
