I have to tell you this has been one of the best experiences I have had. I cannot speak for any other facilities or services but I am going through Obesity Control Center with Dr. Aerial Ortiz and EVERYTHING they said would happen has happened just as described. My Mother is here with me and she is typically a scardy cat, she is so impressed also. Tuesday evening after pre op we walked to Walmart and a mall then went to the casino for awhile. Never once was uncomfortable. Everyone you encounter is so nice and just there to help. Hotel, hospital, restaurants, stores, cab driver (we took taxi back Tuesday night $5.00) for all other transportation to and from OCC and hotel they provide and will stop at store or whatever you want. The hotel staff is just falling all over themselves to please you. Surgery went great, he repaired a hernia I did not know I had for free and would have taken gall bladder if there were any problems but he said mine was perfect so no need. We have met several people from other facilities but I have not seen them after their procedure. All three of us through OCC are equally impressed. I would have came by myself now that I see how it is but you know Moms, she would have insisted and I'm 47... lol. Please feel free to ask anything and I will be glad to share honest answers for you.
