I should be better to be out there to help the newbies! 70 lbs huh? Great for you.........although that was a month ago, so you are probably a little more now. I have hit the 80 mark. I think it'll be slow go from here... no worries, though..........I am happy right where I am. if I get to 140, then bonus. but I flew last week to california, on southwest airlines, got stuck in a middle seat, DID NOT NEED the seatbelt extension and I fit and could breathe and didn't take space from my two passengers along side of me. wow, what a feeling! summer is here... time to get out to get a new suit! keep me posted..................new photos, new photos!!! xo..........kris

what is the digestion like? Warm weather is here now, so get out and start loving life on the thinner side. Been thinking about you and hope all is well!

hello! Well, I am close to it. I'm about two weeks ahead of you............how are you feeling? things going down ok? I still have trouble with the protein, but oh well, I'm more worried about getting in the fluids. Today I'm attempting cream of potato soup, and it's delicious. I am dieing for a salad, but doc says to wait a few more weeks for that. Ok, I say!

Have finally had my op!!! Last year that's passed has been so difficult waiting for surgery. Couldn't even log on. 5 days post op now. Light headed as anything but doing ok. Anyone else at same stage? Please share how your doing. :-)))

My pre-op diet could go on for 6 months if they don't get themselves into a faster gear!!! I live in Greenwich, London. Here in Blighty the NHS takes time plus side is I don't have to pay. Its frustrating still though.

Oh my, Optifast, I remember the days of the Cambridge Diet which I am sure you know is similar thing. Did it for nearly 4 months once upon a long time ago. Very strong will needed eh?

Hey Dawnie, you are off to a good start with the pre-op diet. I don't have mine till 9th Feb, but have to do 4,(yes I said 4) weeks of Optifast and have to lose 15 kilos, 33 lbs.
Where are you from Dawnie and do you ahve msn or yahoo?
