Haven't been on here for awhile, thought I'd check in to let all know how things are going since my sleeve surgery, July 15, 2014. I am 55 years old, 5'3", and had a high weight of 204 in January of this year. I was 196 at first Dr visit and weigh 158 today. I think that is 38 pounds since I got my sleeve, "Fancy". I have rheumatoid arthritis which was a large reason I opted for thus surgery. My RA was horrible for the month I was off medication, pre and post surgery. Really bad!

Hi everyone!! I had my surgery on July 15, one week ago. My surgery was at noon on Tuesday and i was home by 5:00pm on Wednesday. I did take pain meds by iv while at hospital at smallest dose and continued pain meds by mouth for a couple days at home. It wasn't so much for pain, that was minimal, it was more for just feeling uncomfortable. I was up walking and drinking almost as soon as i got back to room. No problems with nausea, gas pains, etc. Much easier than any surgery i have ever had! That

Hello everyone! I had my visit with dietician today. It went great and i was approved for surgery. I have my psych evaluation on Thursday and hope to have a surgery date early next week. Yeah! Hope to begin my sleeved life sometime in July. I have so enjoyed and learned from all of you. Keep me in your prayers!
