Surgery went really....would totally do it again. You're allowed to eat popsicles for the first couple of days; therefore after a liquid diet for at least 2 weeks. Every doctors post op diet is different but well worth it. Good luck!

oh, yes I certainly would! This was the best thing I could have ever done. of course my weight loss isn't as quick and as extreme as others because I only had 75 lbs to lose and was just over 212 lbs when I started. But I have no regrets... I have taken my mom down to mexico to have it done, and now my cousin just returned from having hers done last week. Go with the Sleeve, the band has too many issues.

Oh, I'm sorry if I misled you, I haven't had surgery yet. I am scheduled for this Monday, May 12th.
However, from what I am reading on here, seeing online and speaking with people about, it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. lol
I'm right there with you, I need to lose 200 pounds, or would like to at least.
Also, from what I am hearing only a select few have good results with the lap-band as far as long term goes. My surgeon said that most people have to have a lap-band revised to the gastric sleeve.

Hi... yes I'm very happy with the surgery. Was t best thing I done ever. Right now I'm 8 weeks after surgery and I'm eating good. Very small amount Cuz that is what my pouch can hold.
I can eat grill chiken, mash potato, shirms, king Krap, salmón ground meat (lean) sad very shop, peal fruits, raw vegtables,pouch eggs or scramble or fry on spray pam, whole grain toast with penut butter n bananas, half cup of pasta or brown rice...thank god I don't have no complications at all but when I say at all is nothing... I lost 60 pounds I'm I feel wonderful. And I wanna loose 20 more. That all Cuz I'm a big bone girl and with 186 pound I am size 8 in pants. I am Latina and I don't wanna be sooo o skinny hahaha.
