So I have officially turned the corner and have completed two full weeks of liquids. I have only one more week until soft foods, but first I have to complete the dreaded week three.
But first, let me get something out of the way. Yep. The dreaded s-word. Stall. Haven't lost any weight in the last few days. However, I am happy to report that on a scale of "slightly bummed" to "oh-sweet-baby-jesus-is-that-the-four-horsemen-to-carry-me-off-because-it-is-the-end-of-the-world-what-did-I-do-to-myself,"

The pain is pretty much gone. Every so often I will twist in an awkward manner and it may be a problem. Otherwise, I'm good. I'm sitting upright for extended periods of time without a problem.
I have been slacking on my protein this week because well... I'm tired of these damn shakes. I thought I could do it, but I hit some kind of psychological wall this week where the fact that I couldn't actually chew food made me angry. No seriously, I felt an overwhelming sense of resentment

I feel like I am at about 75%. Most of the pain has subsided, but there is still this nagging discomfort in the lower left side of my stomach. I called the doctor and they said it was normal. Sometimes it takes longer for people to heal. We scheduled a 2 week follow up and said if it was still bothering me at that point, we would discuss it.
I am surprised at how much I am not hungry. I still have cravings though. Lately it has been a Chipotle Chicken Burrito Bowl. Don't ask

I am one week post op. The first 3-4 nights I couldn't sleep due to pain in my lower abdomen. The next two nights, gas woke up in the middle of the night. This morning acid reflux woke me up before my alarm clock. Why is there gas and acid reflux if I am not eating anything? This is getting a bit annoying and disruptive. Can anyone tell m when things will normal out?

So I am 6 days out and still on liquids. I was doing ok with liquids and the routine of it all and all of a sudden around 6pm today I felt if I saw another protein shake or can of broth I would lose my mind.
So I decided to get iced tea. The diet said I am allowed 16oz a day and since I can't have soda anymore, I am a tea girl. So I run out an get some iced tea and enjoy my 16 oz. Then there is his reaction inside me, that I guess was acid reflux. It was very pronounced. More than
