Gall Bladder Surgery with Sleeve

I am contemplating having my gall bladder out at the same time as I am sleeved in Mexico.
I have been talking to healthcare here in Canada and they advise that I get it done due to age (61) and high probability of having a problem with expected weight loss.
Has anyone else had the dual surgery? I was advised that it does not require any more time and that I can fly out on my expected day 3 days after surgery.
