  1. Any sleeves out there with restless leg syndrome? Just curious how the sleeve surgery may have affected your rls symptoms?
  2. Surgery is on the schedule! We're doing this the 24th of June. Excited, nervous and any other emo you can think of. My husband and my two adult daughters are the only ones that know I'm doing this. I've been able to cover at work with explaining that I have a hiatal hernia that will need to be repaired. I have a desk job so I am hoping that I will only need a week off before cleared to return to work. I'm curious, how are y'all doing that have returned to work after a week, or what's your average down time?

8 weeks post op today!

by Mvanjames on 08-19-2014 at 06:41 PM
So, I am 8 weeks post op today. Feeling great! I am down 48 lbs since beginning my pre-op two week diet. Actually had to buy some clothes today, thrift store here I come. I was shocked when I took a chance and tried on a size 14 pair of jean trousers, they fit like a glove! Omg, I'm so thrilled! Hope everyone is having a great day! I sure am and love this sleeved life, best decision that I've ever made for ME!!!

4th day of post op- update

by Mvanjames on 06-27-2014 at 08:55 PM
Well, here I am on my 4th day since surgery and guess what - I feel good! So excited to feel good, everyday gets a bit better and I'm relieved. I was really worried about how long it may take to feel somewhat normal again. I am struggling a bit with the drinking, but I keep trying to get in all that I need. I had to go out this evening, and afterwards the husband and I decided to take a walk around Target. I've been walking a lot, but this was nice as it was a change of scenery.
