Well I just had my gall bladder removed. I was having some pain accompanied by nausea and puking occasionally. At first I chalked it up to something I ate, but eventually the pain was so intense, I knew something was really wrong. An ultra sound revealed that something was! I had gall stones. The surgery itself wasn’t that bad. The first week I was pretty sore. But by the second week I was feeling much better. But be ready for some bathroom issues after the surgery.

So I am 6 months out. I was constistently losing 2 lbs a week for a few months. Then all of the sudden 3 weeks ago I quit losing. I am not doing anything different, I just must be at a stall. I have never had one last 3 weeks! So 3 weeks without any weight loss has me so depressed. I want to cry. I feel like I am failing. It's hard to keep a positive attitude when the scale stops. I was ok with the first week, and even the second week. But when I weighed this week, I am not ok with

So I am 13 weeks out from surgery and 50 lbs down. I look way better but still not good really! lol I'm half way to where I want to be though. And that's farther than I was before!! I still struggle with getting my protein in. I am doing better with fluids as I have developed a love for orange juice. It's something different than water. My hair has started coming out. It's unbelievable what comes out when I shampoo or even brush my hair. I know that it's normal for this stage.

So I am now 10 weeks out. No more nausea for the most part. Once in a while I get a little bit. What I struggle most with now is eating enough and remembering to take my vitamins. My weight loss seems so slow. I can be the same weight for 1- 2 weeks and then only lose 2 lbs. I just don't get it. I am walking a mile a day. I think 2 lbs for 2 weeks is ridiculous. It is hard to get enough calories in because I can only eat such small amounts. Protein is another struggle for me. Meat in

I am still having nausea somewhat. I take Zofran everyday. I think it is getting a little better. But maybe that's just the Zofran helping me. I am frustrated though. I struggle to eat and drink enough everyday too. When I eat, it seems like I only can take 3 bites before it starts to hurt and feel uncomfortable. I just want to cry. Nothing feels "good" per say when I eat it. I don't throw anything up, but I can't get much in either. I'm still supplementing with a protein shake
