Waiting to begin my journey...

I got the referral from my doctor to meet with the bariatric surgery team to go through all the steps to have surgery. They called to set up the appointment but saw in my file that I am (was, now) a smoker. Now I have to wait to test negative for nicotine to even make the first appointment. I know this is a long process, but I sure wish it would speed up.

Anyone here go through Kaiser in SSF for their surgery? Anyone have the nicotine test at Kaiser? If so, is it a blood or urine
