Congrats on your progress. How are you coming along. At 2.5 years out, I'm finding the hardest part is maintaining but I continue to work hard. I can now eat more at least a small saucer of food. I have to strive to make good choices. I've worked too hard to get to this point. Just sending you words of encouragement. I tell myself that eating the junk food does not make me nearly as happy as being healthy feels.

Good luck on your journey im sure you have worked real hard too. Best of luck on your success

Good morning. Yes, I had my appt on Friday with Chin but my surgery isnt until Jan 8. Sucks, I was hoping to get it before the holidays and not have to deal with all the food and temptations but they are real busy right now. He says everyone is getting bariatric surgery these days. He did put me on the waiting list if there's a cancelation but that list is pretty long too. So all I can do know is wait.......GRRRRRRR!

Your doctor told you to cut down to 400 calories a day? That is crazy and dangerous. Please don't do it. When you eat too few calories your body goes into starvation mode and your metabolism will slow right down. Then when you increase to a low cal diet (other doctors have written that anything below 1200 calories is unsafe) of perhaps 900-1000 calories, you wont lose weight. You may even gain it. I would say to not go below 900-1000 calories if you can eat that much. And if you don't believe me get another opinion from a weight loss doctor.
    All the best.

you can do this, can't wait to get it done. I have been overweight for most of my life and I am so tired of the limitations it puts on me. It can't get here soon enough.
