I'm doing pretty well. I lost 28# in the first month. Not too shabby! I am experiencing horrible acid reflux everyday. I pop Tums like candy all day long on TOP of taking Pepcid twice a day. That part absolutely SUCKS, but I think it's a small price to pay. Other than the acid reflux, I really have no complaints. I feel totally normal. I'm still learning what I can and can't eat and how much I should eat. It's been a challenge to drink enough water and I'm constantly having to remind myself to DRINK! I'm not as weak as I was the first couple of weeks. I'm able to get enough protein in now. I'm starting to eat more normally and it makes me feel less alienated.

How are you feeling today? Was the drain incision leak normal??

Post op day 9. Yesterday was the first day I've felt nearly normal. Lots of energy, little to no pain. I'm able to bend over and pick up toys off of the floor! Though, I did way too much and suffered last night. I crashed on the couch at 5, and didn't wake up till 8. Was up long enough to take my pills and drink another glass of water before I went to bed. I can't believe how exhausted I am. I am supposed to get my stitches out tomorrow. My only concern is that my drain incision is still leaking every now and then. Is that normal? I have a feeling it isn't. I cannot wait for them to come out though. What an irritation! I have however, lost 23 pounds. I'm OVER the moon at that!

This is post op day 2. I'm doing really good. I slept for 8 hours straight last night. That was amazing. Had the leak test done this morning. All is good. The drink was mortifying. Take breath mints with you! I'm looking forward to having the drain removed today and going home tomorrow!!!
