Thank you for the kind words.
  2. Thank you for your kind words on my blog. I can tell you that there was not one moment that I regretted my decision to get the sleeve done. I'm considered a slow loser and that can be frustrating, but I am still a LOSER! LOL I wish you the best of luck with your journey and if you have any questions, just message me.

Thank you so much I appreciate your words. I am so happy for you, you won't regret the decision I promise you that.
  4. Went to family doctor today, have underactive thyroid so he put me on meds. He said we have to see what strength is good for you, so take this strength this month, blood work and come see me. Then do the whole cycle all over again until we get it down. He dropped some unwelcoming news on me that my surgery may have to be postponed a few months. What the heck? Haven't seen my surgeon yet so I don't know if she is on the same page as he is sure hope not, was looking forward to getting sleeved in July.

And now the journey begins

by vonik on 08-24-2014 at 01:50 PM
One more day and I'll be sleeved. I have to go into the hospital tomorrow to be monitered for my fluids that will be given to me on the day of surgery. Cardiology is requesting this.? I guess because of the excessive amount of fluids administered for surgery they want me to be monitered the day before to see if I can tolerate the fluids??? I don't know, whatever. I'm really ready for this, as a matter of fact I am looking forward to it, not scared just ready. I am soooo ready to let loose of this

August 26 here I come....

by vonik on 07-31-2014 at 04:38 PM
Office submitted papers on Monday got a phone call on Wednesday, I'm officially approved for August 26. Hard to explain my feelings, I need pinched, doesn't seem real. You put forth all the effort of getting approved and when it becomes reality it's hard to explain how I feel. Anxious, excited and a big sigh of relief that this Large Women Lifestyle is coming to an end. I hate to wish what is left of summer but I can't wait until August 26.

Almost There

Saw my surgeon today and all that needs done is paper work sent into insurance for approval, get cardiology clearance letter, get surgery date and do 2 week pre-op and I'm on my way to a whole new way of living. I am so ready to have this done. Thanks to all the post on here that I've been reading for the past 4 months, they have me so prepared for getting sleeved. It's funny I have no fears or even second thoughts about the what if's. I've come to realize that I need this for number one uno
