Thank you for sharing your pictures. Great job! Congratulations on your weight loss Keep up the good work.
  2. Hi Amanda! I'm doing pretty good, and I know, the time is flying. I'm able to eat more solid foods too, but I have found that some things bug me. Thus far that's only been very sweet things, and pasta. So it's probably a good thing I need to stay away from them lol. I've had the eating too fast problem too, especially at lunch time, when I've got to get back to work. I've been trying to slow down, and not force things down, because that's just asking for trouble. I'm glad to hear that you're doing well too!

Hey Megan- How are you doing? I can't believe it's been 9 weeks and I'm eating REAL food. Luckily, I'm not having trouble eating anything ( I don't know if that's good or bad-LOL) and haven't really encountered any eating issues. I do eat too fast at times- which is going to be a hard habit to break- but I'm so relieved I didn't get acid reflux or have aversions to foods, etc. like I was reading about. I hope you are doing well!! Keep up the good work!

I'm on "full liquids" for 4 weeks and then I progress to mushy foods so I've been living on yogurt and cream soup, mainly. My biggest struggle is trying to get it all down.. water.. protein shakes.. the "meals"... it's a lot. My nutritionist is telling me to try to get 80g of protein per day which is a lot. But I can "eat" about 1/2 cup of yogurt or soup at a time so I think that's pretty good. I know when I start eating more solid foods, I am really going to feel the restriction so I am a little nervous about that. Glad you are doing well! I'm excited! I'm down about 30 lbs ( pre-op and post op combined) and I think I'm starting a stall right now, but we'll see. One day at a time! Keep up the great work!!!
