    Hi Shellybelle, I going back to work at end of the week. Had my surgery on 03/11/14. It was done in Phila. How are you Feeling ?

    Like pain in your throat? They may have been rough when putting in or taking out the tube to help you breathe. Is it effecting how much you can drink? Because as you surely know, no eating!!!

    surgery date 3/3/14. staying on liquid diet and losing 1/2 pounds/day and inches; very pleased. keeping expectations realistic! exercise is walking. back to sleeping on my belly, yea. post op visit on 17th.

I have only told 2 people I was sleeved. I had the Lap-Band for just under 4 years when it had to be taken out by emergency surgery. I was 181 lbs in June 2013 when this happened. I gained everything back and then some. I hated the band, glad it's gone. It was so restrictive ,I just went crazy with food after it was gone. I wish I could have had the sleeve done right then, but it was so rush rush and they didn't know the condition of my stomach so they couldn't. Anyway not too many people knew
