That's great! Luckily mine didn't require six months either. And Terry is really great with follow up so you should hear something soon.

Hey there, I actually just got approved this last Monday and my surgery is scheduled for July 29. I have Aetna and it took them exactly two weeks to approve.

One thing I suggest is to stay in contact with your liaison. Mine was Terry. I made sure that every time someone signed off, that she knew. And I kept that tracker sheet and marked all the dates for myself. Then, when I got my final sign off, I called Terry to tell her, so she could submit to insurance. And she said it was good that I called otherwise it would have been a while before she came back around to my file.

So far things have been relatively easy. I have two pre-op appts next week so I'll let you know how that goes.

I just got started on my journey will be having surgery in 6 months and I wanted some info from people that have gone thru the process already. Have you had your surgery yet? I am really concerned about hair loss.
