I think that is what I might also do, upgrade to 1st class if there is anything available for the ride home. I am flying from florida. its a long trip and I hope I can handle it. on the way there wont be bad but I really will dread the ride home. I have asked for wheelchair service on the way back because that way you get to get on the plane 1st and don't have to worry about anybody moving around you. you will be seated before everyone else gets aboard.

Thank you for all the best wishes. It has been a couple of rough days. The day of surgery was the hardest. Didn't sleep much. It was a little hard to get comfortable and them when I did I nurses would come in with meds. But that's to be expected. The hotel is very comfortable. It's been hard to get fluids down. Only very very small amounts. I didn't get sick but had a close call today because I drank to much to fast. I have to keep reminding myself to go slow. Over all, I'm doing better everyday. I'll be glad to go home tomorrow but I'm dreading the long flight from San Diego to Jacksonville. I might have see who much it is to upgrade to first class
