3 years, 1 month starting over.....again

by julesdeck on 06-18-2017 at 02:04 PM
Pretty embarrassing to be writing this honestly. I feel like I've failed myself. I've gained back almost 20 lbs and never reached my goal. I am in a reset mode (again). Unfortunately the stress, travel, and family losses have taken its toll on me emotionally and physically, but I am done with putting myself last. I have started to journal again, doing a cleanse, and reintroduced my shakes. I have made it clear to my family and work associates that I need help and NO! is going to be a big word

Almost 17 months post op - getting back on track

by julesdeck on 10-07-2015 at 09:23 AM
I'm writing this to be honest with myself more than anything. I allowed my emotions and stress to control me this past year. I was so successful after surgery. I was a slow loser, but consistent. Once I moved, I was more active, however, the stress from the new job and commute took over. Then my life changed. My Dad died and even though it has been 10 months, it feels like yesterday. 9 month post op

by julesdeck on 02-20-2015 at 08:26 AM
Still sitting at 179 lbs. It's been 2 months since my Dad passed, but things are not that much easier to deal with. I've started being more active and that is helping both physically and emotionally. I just got some other bad news regarding my sister and now my other sisters husband in regards to their health. It is a non stop emotional roller coaster around here. I'm so grateful that I haven't gained any weight. Disappointed I haven't lost, but that is my own fault due to lack of focus.

8 Months Post Op

by julesdeck on 01-15-2015 at 06:54 AM
So I just completed my 5 day pouch test. Fabulous program. It finally pushed me under 180 and over the 70 lbs lost mark (been stuck in the 180's for a few months now) and got my restriction back! I measured myself for the first time in a couple of months and wow, I need to get working out again. The stress of life, moving, new job, etc has screwed with my schedule and I have to take control back. I committed to my calendar to work out 3 days a week for the next 2 weeks then increased it to
