Here is my rundown from surgery till today
WEDNESDAY
8:30a arrive to the hospital 45min early catch a lol nap before I went in
9:00 Check in at registration
9:15 escorted to my room. Blood pressure, blood sample and physical done. Was informed my Dr was backed up and my surgery was gonna be late
12:00 Speak to Anesthesia doctor, IV is set up, and given last minute advice

Well I lay in bed clearing my mind as I get prepared for my surgery this morning. This day marks the beginning of a new me. Not only is it my surgery date but also my birthday!! I feel like I am receiving the opportunity to redefine my life, recreate my outlook, reach for new dreams and replace the old me. I am excited and truly blessed for this opportunity.

Oh how I would just like to sleep for the next 11 days and wake up wih a sleeved tummy. This liquid diet is truly testing my willpower. Several times I had to have a conversation with myself as I sit in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant. So far the good side of me is winning. Hope it continues this way

Okay I am going through this horrible phase since I was given my surgery date. This phase is what I like to call my food finale funeral. It's the end of my bad eating before I introduce healthier choices.I am currently eating any and everything I can think I will miss once I get sleeved. Burgers, ice cream, fries and bread. Pretty much anything which is a carb. Sometimes it's so bad I am eating fast food 2 to 3 times a day. This mourning of my future break up with food has put 5 pds on me. At this
