I have overcome so much in the last 8 months. I made my weight goal a few weeks ago (128). I can not begin to tell you how I feel, I am very happy, and feeling very healthy. I am very greatful to friends, family members, and co-workers for their understanding during this period in my life. A tremendous thank you to the YMCA and their classes. Oh my goodness, I LOVE ZUMBA!!!! ZUMBA is amazing. I am truly enjoying my new look. I do want everyone to know that this was a choice that I made for my health. For me, I was happy in my own skin. Surgery was Wednesday. I had more nausa than pain. The GI scan was no joke. The thick nast liquid I took 4 sips of made me almost vomit. Its a little bit of a struggle to get the fluids and protein in since everything is liquid. Had a bowel movement last night. Walking slowly. I made it to my bed instead of the couch last night. I am trying to wein myself from the pain/ nausa medecine. Everything is good. Weigh in at hospital was 209 now 205.....

Surgery tomorrow. ..I'm excited

Excited!!!!!....yesteday received surgery date June 2. Today was my last appointment with the diietician and at weigh in I'm down 217. That's minus 6 lbs from last months weigh in. I'm a happy!!!

It has and still is a long, but good journey. I really feel fantastic. I have not been under 300 in 30+ years! Yippee!! I could not be happier I did it.

Just wanted to five an upxate really quick. Had upper GI today. The Dr. gave his consent for surgery. Though he found a few things. He found a hernia and a couple other things. Took a biopsy. I'm really tired so I will come back later and b more specific. My stomach is very uncomfortable but that could be from what I ate for dinner.

Hi there I see you live in Florida and also a nail tech.. So am I, I have been a NT since 1995.. Where in Florida do you live? I am in the Gainesvile area.

I used to do that and yank it off my face because I had the humidifier set too high but am sleeping through the night now. Just had my settings redone last summer and got a new machine so I'm happy. I'm hoping this sleeve works out and I get over sleep apnea. I hate always having to bring my mask with me when I travel. Anyway, I hear you on the routine. I'm trying to get a more reasonable one instead of working 'til I'm tired and then just passing out!

Hi Nicole. Yes, doing well except for a couple of "minor" issues but they were self-inflicted and I learned!

On the CPAP, you may need to try a different mask. I went through about 4 or 5 different masks before I found the one that works. And if you're new to the CPAP, then it may take you a month or so to adjust.
