I am up early ready to head to the hospital for my surgery. I had an extremely hard and emotional night and keep pushing myself closer to the rest of my life. Looking forward to my new sleeve and all the lifestyle changes that will follow, but I need to remember to take it slowly and in baby steps. Overwhelming feelings flood my thoughts quite often... Wish me luck

I am preparing to get sleeved on Monday and my emotions are still up & down. By taking this huge step I will undoubtably change for the better and regain better health and live longer, however I cannot shake this funk and crying feelings. I need thoughts and advice please...

I'm surviving this roller coaster of a ride almost at an hour by hour approach. Everything is lining up and getting put into high gear, but the mood swings are horrible. I read of the anxiety others have about the surgery and I feel totally confident in that... It's just having to pay it monthly and reduce the cost of the loan fast. I know weight loss will allow me to work more and feel better it's just going to be a process. I must remember to enjoy the ride...Just keep swimming----Dory
