Preop cravings

I am new to this and need to vent.
I am 7 days from surgery 4/28/14 and am on the preop diet. 1000 calories for 5 days then 3 days of all liquids and protein drinks.
I knew this would be hard especially with me being the one who cooks for the family, grocery shops and the family being home more now. Man oh man am I wanting to just dig in to the bbq chips, oreo cookies and order a large pizza. But I won't. I hate the cravings. I won't even be hungry but crave it. So needless to say
