I am worried I am not taking my vitamins regular enough and now I am paying for it. My hair is falling like crazy every time I wash it and my gums are so sore it is awful. I actually had a chip come off of a tooth over the weekend and my whole mouth was hurting so badly, I went to the dentist yesterday at 4:30pm and he agreed to see me. He said the chipped spot made a pocket where food had packed between the teeth and I couldn't get it out with dental floss. My gums were very inflamed and he

Slow and steady is certainly better than not at all.
I talked to my mother this morning and I noticed I still cringe when my mother mentions my weight. I am over 40 and my mother comes from a time when she still reminds me to, "Put your lipstick on, honey" all the time. For YEARS now I can't have a conversation with her that she doesn't mention my weight. It is like she can't help herself. Even when I have good news about my weight loss. Since this is my blog I will document here how I am really feeling and it isn't always positive. I am very grateful that I was able to have this surgery and I do appreciate the weight loss I have had.
I am a little disappointed I haven't lost more by now. My head tells me I am doing well and it is okay to lose slowly but I am a little disappointed. I am also tired of feeling like I have food and drinks stuck in my esophagus. Even if I don't eat very much it feels like it stays stuck

I am a little over 6 weeks out and have lost 30 pounds. I kind of wish it were more but I am happy with that. One thing I have noticed since losing the weight is how tight and uncomfortable my clothes were prior to the surgery! I put myself into clothes that just were not the proper size but also found a lot of clothes just weren't made right for my body.
Since the weight loss my clothes now fit and are loose. They look "proper" on me now. So it isn't time for me

I am getting back to the gym today and I am wondering about the best "tools" to use.
I've heard about fitbit and I have used the "Couch to 5K" app on my phone and liked it but I want something that does a little more. I'd like to have something that helps me track calories in and out. I like that fitbit has a sleep tracker also. I'm thinking about spending the money on it but wondering if there is something better out there?
