So my superbowl Party yesterday was originally supposed to be my "last supper". Oh the irony to have to sit there and watch everyone eat my favorite foods while I'm on the pre - op diet. Oh and the beer too. I actually surprised myself with how good I felt and really wasn't going too crazy craving food. I r early didn't crave beer at all. I think it's all in the mindset. If I was just on a diet I would have been miserable. But since I'm having surgery nothing was an option.

So as of right now I'm planning on going back to work 5-6 days after surgery. I know this sounds crazy. And I'm thinking of maybe extending it. I have a flexible boss who says she will work with me. My job is very laid back in the sense that I sit at a computer screen, but it is for a 12 hour shift. I don't know if I'm bitting off more than I can chew. How did everyone feel after their surgery and how much time did everyone take off. A guy that I worked with returned after five days off

I have a Feb 7 surgery. What to do. Part of me wants to eat everything while I still can, but the other part is like this is how you got here.

I can't believe I going to do this...... Wow is it setting in that this is finally going to happen. I've been looking into surgery for a few years now, and the insurance company has been giving me the big run around, so I decided I would just do surgery in TJ with Dr Almanza. I have butterflys bad. Can't wait for surgery to be done.
